Vic in this episode

The team is having a party at Dean's houseboat, drinking and dancing and just enjoying themselves. Vic and Maya talk and mention that they have broken up with their doctors. The next morning Vic wakes up in Dean's bed because Travis and Emmett slept in hers. They yell at each other before Travis walks into the room to tell them they have to go into work. They are called to Pac North and are supposed to evacuate the hospital but end up trapped in the basement where Dean discovers a bomb. While Travis and Ben work on the injured doctor, Jack and Vic are trying to find a way out and Dean tries to diffuse the bomb. The injured doctor suggests to use the autoclave which is airtight and can dampen the explosion and while the firefighters can't save her they can save themselves and her research that she has been living for. At the station, the decide to celebrate Chief Dixon's demise at Dean's house where they drink and just have a good time. At the end when everyone is gone, Vic sits down with Dean and gets a little bit too comfortable which doesn't sit well with Dean and he asks her to move out because he doesn't want to confuse his new girlfriend Sasha and Pru. Vic is hurt and storms off before slamming the door.

Quotes from this episode

Vic: Oh, I heard you broke up with your hot doctor lover.
Maya: I heard you broke up with yours.
Vic: Yeah. Yeah, we're dumb.
Maya: So dumb.
Vic: We're so dumb.
Dean: Why are you in my bed?
Vic: 'Cause Travis and Emmett slept in mine. Why are you yelling?
Dean: You can't just sleep in my bed. Wait. Where's... Where's my girlfriend?
Vic: You have a girlfriend?
Dean: Sasha!
Vic: I wouldn't call her your girlfriend.
Dean: What? Where is my girlfriend?!
Vic: I don't know. Why are you yelling?! My head hurts!
Dean: Aah! My head hurts, too!
Vic: Also, with Pruitt gone, I think we're looking for a new father figure.
Ben: Okay, you call me old one more time, I'm gonna send you to bed without your dinner, young lady.
Vic: You were, like, really amazing today.
Dean: Oh, I was?
Vic: Seriously. That bomb squad stuff? Damn, Miller.
Dean: Ugh. Aww, shucks.
Vic: I mean, I probably would have done the same thing, but like an idiot, and you actually knew what you were doing. It was pretty hot. You got to capitalize on that.
Dean: I think you should move out.
Vic: What?
Dean: I, um... I think you should move out of the houseboat.
Vic: Okay, is this because I s... I slept on your bed?
Dean: No. It... Well...
Vic: Because [ laughs ] that was not... I mean...
Dean: Yeah. It's that and other things. I'm seeing someone now. You're... You're... You're a girl, and it's confusing. It's...
Vic: I'm not confused. I mean, I'm confused right now, but what... We're friends, Miller.
Dean: Yeah.
Vic: Right?
Dean: Yes, we are, and I want it to stay that way, but it's just been confusing for... for Sasha. It's been confusing for Sasha.
Vic: For Sa... Okay, so you're gonna kick me out for some girl you've been on three dates with?
Dean: No, no. It's also confusing for Pru.
Vic: For Pru?
Dean: Yes, for Pru!
Vic: Okay, well...
Dean: When she gets older!
Vic: Well, then I'll leave in two years, Miller. What the hell?
Dean: You have to go somewhere. You have to find another place. I'm grateful for all the help, you know, with me and Pru, but it's time. It's time. You have to go.
